8 Mission Wholemeal Roti

1 tbsp vegetable oil

1/2 brown onion, chopped

3 garlic cloves, minced

100g beef mince
-
1/4 cup frozen peas
-
1 carrot, finely chopped

2 tsp curry powder
-
1 tsp chilli powder
-
1 tsp salt
-
1 tbsp flour
-
1 tbsp water
-
1 egg, whisked

1/2 cup greek yoghurt

2 limes, quartered
Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 190°C and line 2 baking sheets with baking paper.

Heat oil in a medium frying pan over medium heat. Cook onions and garlic for 3 to 5 minutes or until softened.

Add mince and cook stirring with a wooden spoon to break up mince, for 3 minutes or until browned.

Add peas, carrot, curry powder, chilli powder and salt. Cook for a further 5 minutes and set aside to cool slightly.

In a small bowl, create a paste with the flour and water.

Place 2 to 3 tbsp of mince mixture in the centre of 1 Mission Roti.

Lightly brush the edge of roti with flour paste.

Fold roti over to enclose filling.

Press edge together to seal and crimp edge with a fork. Place on baking tray.

Repeat with remains rotis and mince mixture.

Brush tops with eggs and bake for 20 to 35 minutes or until lightly browned.
