Burger Sliders

Ingredients

1 packet Mission Plain Sliders

5 tsp oil
-
500g beef mince
-
½ onion, finely diced

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper
-
1 tsp garlic powder
-
5 Aussie jack burger cheese slices

2 cups (heaped) lettuce, roughly chopped

3 pickles, sliced

1 tomato, sliced

Burger sauce:
-
3 tsp mayonnaise
-
4 tsp tomato sauce
-
1 tsp pickle water (from a jar of pickles)
Instructions

Step 1
Combine mince, salt, pepper and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl.

Divide the mixture into 5 equal portions.

Heat Mission Plain Sliders in the microwave according to packet instructions.

Take one slider and spread one portion of the mince evenly, spreading the mince all the way to the edge.

Heat pan on medium-high heat with 1 tsp oil. Place slider into pan mince side down and cook for 2 minutes.

Flip the slider and sprinkle diced onion and add cheese slices. Cook for 1 minute or until cheese starts to soften on top.

Repeat steps 5-6 with the remaining 4 Mission Plain Sliders.

In a small bowl mix mayonnaise, tomato sauce and pickle water to create burger sauce.

Place the slider on a plate and assemble it with fillings, tomato, pickles, lettuce and sauce.

Serve on a taco stand or plate.
