  • 6 Mission Street Tacos

    1 jar Mission Medium Chunky Salsa

     

  • Filling:

  • 250g pulled beef, store-bought

  • 2 - 3 dried chipotle peppers

    2 cups boiled water

    2 cloves garlic, chopped

    ½ red onion, roughly chopped

    1 lime, juiced

    1 tsp cumin

    ½ tsp salt

    ½ tsp pepper

     

  • Toppings:

  • 1 avocado, diced

    ½ cup white salad onion, chopped

  • ¼ cup coriander, chopped

    Lime wedges to serve

  • Step 1

    Soak dried chipotle peppers in boiled water for 15 minutes.

  • Step 2

    Grill 6 Mission Street Tacos over high heat until light grill marks appear on one side. Stack grilled tacos onto a plate and cover with a clean tea towel to keep warm until ready to use.

  • Step 3

    Into a food processor add garlic, red onion, lime juice, cumin, salt, pepper, soaked chipotle peppers and half the soaking liquid. Blitz until smooth and well combined.

  • Step 4

    Add your sauce into a pan and heat on medium until simmering, approximately 5 - 7 minutes.

  • Step 5

    Add pulled beef and combine well. Heat for a further 3 - 4 minutes.

  • Step 6

    Assemble tacos with beef filling, Mission Medium Chunky Salsa, avocado, onion and coriander. Serve with limes.
