40g flour

40ml bourbon or orange juice

240ml full cream milk

1 tsp nutmeg

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

240g caster sugar

6 egg yolks

Step 1
Stir flour and bourbon in a large bowl.

Bring milk, spices and vanilla to a simmer in a saucepan over medium-high heat and pour 1 tbsp milk onto flour mix, whisk until smooth, then whisk in remaining milk.

In another saucepan, bring sugar and 160ml water to the boil until sugar dissolves, then pour sugar syrup over milk mixture, whisking constantly. Leave to cool for 10 minutes.

Whisk in yolks, transfer to a jug and set aside to cool completely.

Preheat and grease pie maker for 5 minutes.

Cut Mission Soft & Fluffy Wraps using the large end of provided circle cutter.

Step 7
Place wraps into preheated pie maker and fill with 3 tbsp of filling. Cook for 12 to 15 minutes.

Step 8
Using a blow torch, lightly caramelise or burn the tops. Cool and serve.
